Dublin is celebrating it’s June 2011 recognition as a 2011 “All-American City” by the National Civic League by hosting a special event at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museum on Saturday, July 21st from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
There will be hot dogs, apple pie, and root beer along with activities such as sack races, a watermelon-eating content, and water balloon tosses.
Kids can have their face painted and go for wagon and tractor rides. Folk musicians and a local blues band will be playing.
The “All-America City” prestigious award is given to towns, cities, counties, neighborhoods, and metropolitan regions that demonstrate outstanding civic accomplishments. Dublin was chosen as one of just ten cities, and the only city in California to receive the award.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
