The 2nd annual harvest faire is this Saturday, October 20th at the Heritage Park and Museum in Dublin, CA.
The event will offer families an afternoon full of autumn fun. Visitors can take step back in time to the simpler days and enjoy a ride on the historic tractor-drawn hay wagon, a visit to the pumpkin patch, or play in the haystack. Don’t miss the Let’s Pretend Farm Time Tour where the audience becomes farmers and farm animals in “The Cutest Show on Earth.”
The Harvest Faire will feature live music at the Old Hay Barn with special performances by Loose Change, Dublin Bluegrass Band and Stoney Ridge Bluegrass Band.
Other activities at the Harvest Faire include a petting zoo with classic farm animals, fall nature crafts, face painting, and tours of the 1910 Kolb House and 1850’s Murray Schoolhouse.
General admission to the Harvest Faire is free. Wristbands can be purchased at the event for $5 which includes the following activities: ride in the tractor-drawn hay wagon, making autumn nature crafts, visit animals at the petting zoo, tour the Murray Schoolhouse and Kolb House. Pumpkins from the pumpkin patch can be purchased for $4.
The Faire will be followed by a Harvest Barn Dance in the Old Hay Barn with an introduction to square dancing by the Northern California Square Dancers Association.
